Read this before he breaks your heart again:
He’s not confused. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He knows when he’s breadcrumbing you, keeping you just close enough to stay, but never close enough to feel secure.
He knows when he’s giving you false hope. He knows when he’s making empty promises he has no intention of keeping. Don’t let him fool you into believing he’s lost or struggling to figure it out.
A man who wants you knows what he wants and moves like.
He’s not too busy, he’s simply prioritizing someone or something else. Nobody is too busy for someone they truly want in their life.
A man in love will find a way to make time, no matter how chaotic his schedule is. If he’s not calling, texting, checking in, making plans, it’s because you’re not the priority. His silence is an answer.
His lack of effort is a message,and every time you excuse it, you’re teaching him that you’ll accept crumbs.
He’s not scared. He’s not broken beyond repair.
He’s not too damaged to love. He’s just comfortable exactly where he is, comfortable enjoying the benefits of your loyalty, your attention, your emotional labor, without the responsibility of committing or showing up fully.
He’s not afraid of love, he’s afraid of losing his freedom while still enjoying the perks of having you.
He’s not healing. He’s keeping his options open
and sis, your heart is not a waiting room for someone to recognize your worth.
Stop waiting for a man to choose you, to see you, to value you, to wake up and realize what he has.
If he hasn’t seen it by now, he never will and the longer you stay, the more pieces of yourself you’ll lose trying to earn what should’ve been freely given!
